Rapper Offset is reported to be in stable condition after being shot Monday evening near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida.
According to reports, a representative for Offset confirmed that he sustained gunshot injuries but is currently in stable condition and being closely monitored. Authorities said the shooting occurred in a valet area outside the casino.
The Seminole Police Department stated that the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening and confirmed that two individuals were detained in connection with the incident. Officials also assured the public that the area is secure and there is no ongoing threat.
Offset, who rose to fame as a member of the hip-hop group Migos alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff, has remained a prominent figure in the music industry. The group gained widespread recognition with hits like “Versace” and their Grammy-nominated album Culture.
