PECKHAM, London — A 26-year-old man, Aurelio Mejia, has been identified as the victim of a fatal stabbing outside a nightclub in the early hours of Easter Monday.
Mejia was attacked during a group altercation near LAXA Lounge on Ruby Street at approximately 3:50 a.m. He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Metropolitan Police, two other men in their 20s were also injured in the incident and were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Both remain in critical condition.
Detectives have arrested four men in connection with the incident—one aged 18 and three aged 24—on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody as investigations continue.
Specialist officers are supporting Mejia’s family as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the deadly altercation.
